Product Description

Palatinite Granules are a specialty sugar designed specifically for candy art and sugar decorations.
With low hygroscopicity and high heat stability, this sugar is less sticky than regular sugar and resists browning even when heated, making it ideal for delicate decorative work.

When melted, it produces a clear, glossy finish with minimal coloration, allowing for clean shapes, transparent effects, and precise coloring. These properties make it a preferred choice for pulled sugar, poured sugar, and decorative candy elements.

Selected by Mukoh Matcha for professional and advanced home confectionery use, this sugar supports creativity where precision and appearance matter most.

How to Use

Decorative Sugar (Oven Method)

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Spread palatinite granules thinly over the surface.

  3. Heat in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 5 minutes.

  4. Allow to cool completely, then gently peel from the parchment.

Poured Sugar (Microwave Method)

  1. Place 15g of palatinite granules into a double-layered silicone cup.

  2. Heat in a 600W microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds.

  3. Stir with a toothpick, then heat again for 1 minute 30 seconds.

    • If not fully melted, continue heating in 10-second increments.

  4. Add food coloring if desired and mix quickly.

  5. Pour onto parchment paper or into silicone molds before it hardens.

  6. Allow to cool completely, then remove.

⚠️ Caution: Melted sugar and containers become extremely hot. Handle with care to avoid burns.
Heating time and temperature may vary depending on equipment.
