Four cultivars, one harmonious blend

Saeakari, Kirari 31, Saemidori and Tsuyuhikari each contribute to Michi’s character. Blended together, they offer natural sweetness, rounded umami, a creamy mouthfeel and a fresh, elegant aroma.

Choose Michi if you enjoy: smooth matcha whisked with water, gentle bitterness and a lingering sweet finish. It is a lovely choice for an unhurried daily bowl.

Grown in Yame, Fukuoka, Japan. Finely ground using a ceramic ball mill.

How to bring out Michi’s sweetness

Sift 2g of matcha into a bowl.
Add 60–70ml of water at 70–80°C (158–176°F).
Whisk briskly in a W motion until a fine foam forms, then enjoy.

This is a starting recipe: adjust water and matcha to your taste. For a latte, whisk 2–3g with a little warm water, then add your preferred milk. Try it with water first to appreciate the blend.

Before you order

Is Michi sweetened?
No. Michi is pure Yame matcha with no added sugar. “Naturally sweet” describes its tasting profile, not the sweetness of a sweetened drink.

What will I receive?
Matcha powder in the quantity selected above. Larger sizes are packed in 100g pouches. Bowls, whisks and prepared drinks shown in serving images are not included.

How should I store it?
Keep away from heat, humidity and direct sunlight. After opening, seal tightly and refrigerate. If refrigerated, let the sealed pouch come to room temperature before opening to reduce condensation.
