Product Description
Wasanbon Sugar is a traditional Japanese sugar, classified as a type of unrefined (molasses-containing) sugar, known for its exceptionally fine texture, smooth mouthfeel, and refined sweetness.
Made using sugarcane grown in Tokushima Prefecture, wasanbon is carefully processed to produce very fine granules that melt gently on the tongue. Its sweetness is elegant and subtle, with a soft aroma that enhances flavors rather than overpowering them.
Highly valued in traditional Japanese confectionery (wagashi), wasanbon is also suitable for desserts and recipes that call for a delicate, clean sweetness.
