Care and handling

Hand washing the assembled teapot with a soft sponge and mild detergent is recommended. Rinse after use and allow it to dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners and sudden changes in temperature.

The porcelain is listed as suitable for microwave and household dishwasher use. This does not establish that the handle or infuser is suitable for either appliance. Do not microwave the assembled teapot; keep the handle and infuser out of the microwave and dishwasher unless their suitability is separately confirmed.

Use this teapot to brew and serve tea with separately heated water. Do not place it on a stovetop or over a direct flame.
