Product Description
This is a 100% pure Hon-Warabi starch, made exclusively from wild warabi roots harvested in Southern Kyushu (Kagoshima & Miyazaki Prefectures).
Unlike common warabi starch blends, this product contains no added starches or fillers.
It delivers an authentic texture, deep transparency, and elegant elasticity that define true traditional warabi mochi.
Highly valued by Japanese wagashi artisans, this rare ingredient is ideal for those seeking the original taste and craftsmanship of Japan.
